Suzuki Avenis competes against the likes of TVS Ntorq, Yamaha RayZR, and Hero Xoom 125.

Suzuki offers three 125cc scooters: Access, Burgman Street, and Avenis. While the Access remains the highest-selling 125cc scooter in the country, the other two don’t match up any way near. Nevertheless, Suzuki has launched a small update to the Avenis. The 125cc sporty scooter now gets a new dual-tone colour scheme.

The Avenis now come in a  new Metallic Matte Platinum Silver No. 2 mixed with Glass Sparkle Black colour. This shade joins the existing colour palette which includes Glossy Sparkle Black with Pearl Glacier White, Glossy Sparkle Black with Pearl Mira Red, and Glossy Sparkle Black.

Commenting on this latest offering, Deepak Mutreja, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. said, “At Suzuki Motorcycle India, we focus on offering products that reflect the evolving preferences of riders. The new colour on the Avenis adds a bold twist to its sporty personality and gives our young customers another exciting way to express their style on the streets.”

Suzuki Avenis 125: Powertrain

Besides the colour update, everything else remains the same. Powering the Suzuki Avenis is a 124.3cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine compliant with BS6 OBD-2B norms. This motor produces 8.7 hp at 6750 rpm and 10 NM of peak torque at 5500 rpm. This 125cc engine comes with Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology for a balance of performance and fuel efficiency.

Suzuki Avenis 125: Features

When it comes to hardware, Suzuki Avenis features a telescopic front suspension, comes with a Combined Brake System (CBS), and is fitted with a 12-inch front wheel. In terms of features, the Avenis comes with a digital instrument console, a front glove box with USB socket, external hinge-type fuel cap, Bluetooth connectivity, LED headlamps and taillamps, edgy graphics, 21.8-litre  large under-seat storage, and side stand interlock system.

Suzuki Avenis 125: Price

Suzuki offers the Avenis in two variants: Standard and Ride Connect. The former is priced at Rs 91,400 while the latter is marked at Rs 93,200 (both ex-showroom).
