Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy will have an impact on Ashes ticket sales, believes Cricket Australia

Cricket Australia chief executive Todd Greenberg believes that the way the ongoing Anderson–Tendulkar Trophy is being contested between India and England will greatly help in selling tickets for the upcoming Ashes Test series.

“It’s great cricket to watch leading into them coming here on this Ashes trip. It will sell more tickets for us. We like to think that’s talkability,” he said.

The Ashes 2025 will begin in November, and Greenberg is hoping that the footfall will surpass the 837,879 recorded during the 2024–2025 Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

“It’s great, isn’t it? It’s great cricket (India vs England series for Anderson–Tendulkar Trophy) to watch as a fan,” Greenberg told Sydney Morning Herald.
