Well, it’s official. Last month, Lexus confirmed that the IS would be discontinued after a near-three decade run. Almost half of which, incidentally, was dedicated to the third generation XE30 that arrived in 2013! Officially, Lexus has no plans for the IS to return for another sequel any time soon. And yet rumors continue to circulate that an all-electric fourth iteration, based heavily on the LF-ZC concept unveiled last October, could arrive next year.
