Built on the same platform as the Speed 400, the new Triumph Thruxton 400 gets a retro-styled semi-fairing, a round LED headlight, a sculpted rear cowl, and clip-on handlebars with bar-end mirrors. There are four colours to choose from, and owing to its cafe-racer style, the riding position is more focussed — from the other models in the 400 range — with the low clip-on and rear-set foot pegs. The 398 cc single-cylinder engine makes 41 bhp and 3.8 kg-m, and the motorcycle is claimed to hit 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds while the top speed is 161 km/h. It is priced at ₹2.74 lakh, ex-showroom.
