Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mohsin Naqvi is optimistic that all unresolved matters will be settled, and the ACC, in collaboration with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), will successfully pave the way for the staging of the Asia Cup.

The ACC’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) concluded in Dhaka on Thursday (July 24), with most member boards sending representatives in person. While reports initially suggested that the BCCI had opted to boycott the meeting, it was confirmed that BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla attended via video conference.

Speaking at an event during the AGM, Naqvi stressed the importance of unity among member nations, saying the future of Asian cricket hinges on collaboration and mutual support.
