Twelve-time All-Star Chris Paul is returning to the Los Angeles Clippers on a one-year deal for his 21st NBA season, multiple outlets reported Monday.
The deal is reportedly worth $3.6m.
Paul, 40, joined Los Angeles leading up to the 2011-12 season, ultimately guiding the Clippers to at least 51 wins in five of his six seasons there. As a franchise, Los Angeles has won 50 or more games just seven times. An All-Star in five of his six seasons there, Paul ranks first in franchise history with 4,023 assists and 2.2 steals per game.
